For this draft, an original composition of rhythms is written and performed. Each instance represents one part of the composition. Each part was performed and recorded five times.
This project explores how percussion-based rhythms can be transmuted from the hands and represented in different ways via the voice. I use multiple iterations of myself to experiment with the synchronous and polyrhythmic nature of a drumline.
